Getting There

zoom

Come to Paradise and discover the diversity of holiday venues that we have for you and your beloved family. As you leave your footprints in our soil and on our beautiful beaches you will take home memories that will never be forgotten. See you soon……

The South Coast, spanning from Scottburgh in the North to Port Edward in the South and as far as Harding to the West - Getting There is easy…

'Travel South', is the easiest explanation to get here…From Durban, take the N2 South to South Coast ..to Scottburgh ..to Port Shepstone.. to Port Edward

If you planning to go to the well known Scottburgh area, then that's the off-ramp from the N2 South that you will take to get you into this holiday town, also host to the Sardine Soapbox Derby.

The town of Hibberdene is about another 60km South from Scottburgh and the off-ramp is clearly marked. At this off-ramp, you have the option of either taking this off-ramp to Hibberdene and then diving the 'Old Main Road' the R61. This 'old road' takes you on a quaint drive along the stretch of 80 kilometers of our glorious coastline. Should you decide not to take this route, then you will proceed along as the N2 becomes the Toll Road. Off ramps from here are then 'Old St. Faiths / Port Shepstone' if you are going to the Port Shepstone area. The 'Oribi' off ramp taking you into the Port Shepstone town and to the venue of the Borough Grounds for the Cross Cultural Celebration, Ugu Jazz Festival and Lions Show events. The next off ramp would be the Shelly Beach off ramp - take this one to get to our 2 Shopping Malls and the Shelly Beach Ski-Boat Festival and St. Michaels beach. The next one is 'Sea Slopes/ Margate' to take you to the dynamic town of Margate - this is home to the 'Idols Competition' and the Margate Beach Festivals. Carrying on the Toll, will eventually feed you back into the 'Old Road' the R61 and take you further south to the towns of Southbroom and all the way to our southern most town of Port Edward - home to the Portuguese Festival and beach events….

….it is easier than it sounds ….just keep travelling SOUTH!
